These scientists spawn on the oil rig. They carry much better loot than your normal scientist. They carry attachments on their weapons like laser sights. They are part of a new set of AI which should have them act more human and make them harder to kill. I would use a Spas-12 Shotgun to do mass damage when taking down the Heavy Scientist. I'd highly suggest taking oil rig in a group as it's very dangerous, high risk, high reward. Both the large and small oil rig contain an SOS Frequency, which, when set on the RF Pager will make it beep whenever someone hacks the locked crate. The codes seem to be 4768 for the large oil rig and 4765 for the small oil rig.
